A funeral ceremony is an important part of honouring a life and beginning the process of grief, remembrance and healing. It is a moment to acknowledge the person who has died - who they were, what they meant and the legacy and love they leave behind.

It is also a time for family and friends to come together, to reflect, share stories, and find comfort and support in one another. In doing so, it gives space for both sorrow and connection, for laughter and tears.

These ceremonies provide a chance to say goodbye, and to say what is often hardest to put into words - β€œI love you.”

I work with families and friends to create funerals and life celebrations that are thoughtful, personal and gently held. Ceremonies where there is space for reflection, for connection and for the moments that naturally arise when people gather to remember someone they love.

My role as your funeral celebrant

I guide you through the process with care, helping you create a service that truly reflects the person you're honouring.

I'll take the time to learn about your loved one through the stories, memories and moments you share, then bring everything together into a ceremony that feels true to their life.

On the day, I lead the ceremony with a calm, kind and confident presence, taking care of everything while creating the space for stories to be shared, memories to be honoured, and genuine moments of connection to unfold.

Pet farewells

A gentle goodbye for our beloved pets

For many of us, our cats and dogs are a cherished part of our lives. They are our constant companions, giving us an unconditional love that asks for nothing in return.

When they’re no longer here, their absence is often painfully felt – especially in the small rhythms of our daily lives and our social connections. It can be a devastating and deeply felt loss. A grief that can feel like it has nowhere to go – to be seen, held or acknowledged.

A pet farewell offers a gentle, supported way to celebrate your pet, helping you process your grief and begin your healing. It provides a chance to pause and honour the beautiful bond you shared, and to reflect on what they brought into your life.

It can offer you a way to thank them for all they gave you, and in the process – say a final goodbye, and β€œI love you.”
